Sen. Kiko Pangilinan vs Willie Revillame on Twitter, calls Willie R. arrogant!

Sen. Kiko Pangilinan has joined Willie Revillame's Twitter critics.

While Willie threatened to sue those celebs who hit him on Twitter with regards to the "Jan-Jan" controversy, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan made a fearless tweet on April 9 against "Willy R" and even challenged Willy to sue him too.

On his Twitter account (@kikopangilinan), Senator Kiko Pangilinan didn't mention Willie Revillame's name, but only Willy R and he called him arrogant, unrepentant and incorrigible.

A lot of Twitter users were surprised with the tweet and even asked Sen. Kiko if it's really him, the Senator husband of the Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

And he said "yes this is me".

According to Sen. Kiko who has more than 80k followers on Twitter, what happened on Willy's show was a violation of RA 7610 or the anti child abuse law.

FLASHBACK: In 2009, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and wife Sharon Cuneta had an issue with Willie Revillame because of the latter's offensive joke against the couple.

As published on Ricky Lo's PhilStar article last December 23, 2009, Willie reportedly poked fun at Sharon's weight and also joked about Sen. Kiko being a womanizer.

Here's what happened, as reported by Ricky Lo:

"Sharon Cuneta is said to have been “slighted” (to put it mildly) by a joke Wowowee host Willie Revillame cracked on her.

According to the grapevine, Sharon good-humoredly told Willie that he’s already very rich, adding, “Pasakay naman sa yacht mo.” The ever-tactless Willie is said to have replied, “Ayoko nga baka lumubog,” referring to Sharon’s weight (effects of the hypothyroidism she’s suffering from; the opposite, hyperthyroidism, causes the sufferer to lose weight) which she has learned to poke fun at as she did in BFF (Best Friends Forever), her recent starrer with Ai-Ai delas Alas (who has made her prominent chin an object of self-deprecating jokes).

Funfare sources said that it wasn’t that joke that offended Sharon but Willie’s follow-up joke insinuating at Sharon’s husband Sen. Kiko Pangilinan’s being a “womanizer” (which has been sufficiently denied by both Sharon and Kiko).

“Sharon has a right to be hurt,” said somebody close to the Megastar, “because Willie became personal in his joke. It hurt even more because during Willie’s ‘tag-hirap’ days, Sharon was one of the few stars who helped him financially. Or does Willie have such short memory?”
