Sharon Cuneta: Willie Revillame not the only one to blame in 'Jan-Jan' controversy

Sharon Cuneta defended her husband, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, over the Senator's issue with Willing Willie host Willie Revillame.

The issue about Sen. Kiko and Willie started when the Senator criticized Willie after the latter said on his program Willing Willie that he will sue those who criticized him on Twitter. (He changed his mind a few days later.)

That was in April 9 when Sen. Kiko posted this tweet on his official Twitter account (@kikopangilinan):

Sen. Kiko Pangilinan vs Willie Revillame on Twitter

Some people took side with Sen. Kiko, but there were also those who criticized the Senator for making that remark on Twitter. (You can read some comments about the issue HERE).

In an ABS-CBN News interview, Sharon defended her husband's reaction against Willie Revillame, "Well I guess he’s a father kasi, he’s devoted. So siyempre hindi mo maiaalis sa kanya kung gusto niya mag-react."

And when asked about her personal opinion with regard to the "Jan-Jan incident" on Willie Revillame's show Willing Willie, Sharon refused to express opinion on the issue, but she believes though that not only one person is to be blamed with what happened. “Ako ayaw ko na lang mag-comment na. I think masyado ng malaki ang gulo at hindi lang naman isang tao ang dapat i-blame doon. That’s my pananaw, hindi lang isang tao.”

I think that's an opinion already. Though she didn't mention Willie's name, she somehow believes that he is not the only one to be blamed.

And I actually agree with what Ms. Sharon said.

There was a mistake and it was not Willie's sole mistake.

As for Sir Willie, it's Holy Week, I hope he finds time to reflect that somehow he also made a mistake there. We all have our imperfections naman talaga.

This Holy Week, maybe let's also find time to pray for the betterment of all who got involved in this controversy, that they may finally find piece in their hearts, and also pray for the Filipino society, in general. We have lots of problems in our society, much worse than what happened on Willing Willie.
